The Bengaluru Police charge sheet in the shocking fan murder case involving Kannada superstar Darshan and his partner Pavithra Gowda has revealed disturbing details. The victim, Renukaswamy, had allegedly sent inappropriate messages to Pavithra, proposing a secret live-in relationship with her. According to the 3,991-page charge sheet, Renukaswamy sent messages like, “You are hot. Hi, please send your number. Will you be in a secret live-in relationship with me? I will give you Rs 10,000 every month.”
The charge sheet also states that Pavithra, unable to tolerate the continuous vulgar messages and explicit photos, sought help from one of the accused, Pavan. In response, Pavan posed as Pavithra and began chatting with Renukaswamy to locate him. Through this deceptive exchange, Pavan eventually asked Renukaswamy to send photos of himself outside the pharmacy where he worked, which helped track him down.
In a gruesome sequence of events, Renukaswamy was kidnapped from his hometown of Chitradurga and brought to a shed in Bengaluru on June 8, where he was tortured and brutally killed. The police have gathered 65 photos related to the murder and mentioned the role of multiple eyewitnesses, including the shed’s watchman and two workers, who witnessed Renukaswamy's torture and death.
The charge sheet outlines the brutal attack, revealing that Darshan repeatedly kicked Renukaswamy in the chest, breaking his ribs. He then threw him against a truck, causing a severe head injury. In a final act of violence, Darshan kicked Renukaswamy in the groin, causing him to lose consciousness. The assault, triggered by Renukaswamy’s inappropriate messages and explicit photos to Pavithra, proved fatal, with Darshan's attacks resulting in Renukaswamy’s death. Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reports have been cited to corroborate these findings.
The police also documented Darshan's demeanor after the murder. Photos show him looking tense while speaking to other accused individuals at a star hotel in Mysuru, shortly before his arrest. The relationship between Darshan and Pavithra is noted in the charge sheet, with Darshan claiming they were in a live-in relationship but not married.

The case took a horrifying turn when Renukaswamy’s body was discovered in a canal after it was dragged by dogs, leading to the uncovering of this brutal crime. Police sources indicate that Darshan's legal team is preparing a bail plea as the charge sheet has been submitted, though police are relying heavily on eyewitness accounts to strengthen their case against the accused.
