Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar, also known as Shivanna, has recently been declared cancer-free after undergoing surgery in the United States. He had his surgery at the Miami Cancer Institute in Florida, and after a month of recovery, he has returned to work.
To inspire others who are battling cancer, a documentary about his cancer journey will soon be released. The idea for the documentary came from his doctor, who suggested documenting his experience to help others facing similar challenges.
Shivanna’s wife, Geetha Shivarajkumar, who accompanied her husband to Miami for his treatment, shared this information in an interview with TV9 Kannada.
Shivarajkumar is one of the most respected actors in the Kannada film industry. He has worked in several successful films and has a huge fan following. After completing his treatment, he expressed his happiness about being back on film sets. He shared a post on social media, saying that the film set is like his temple and that he is excited to return to work.

Currently, he has resumed work on his upcoming film, tentatively titled Shivanna 131, which is being directed by Karthik Adwaith. Additionally, he is preparing for his Telugu debut in a film tentatively titled RC 16, starring Ram Charan, the famous actor from RRR. There is also speculation that he might return as the character Narasimha in Jailer 2, following his appearance in Rajinikanth’s Jailer.
Shivarajkumar’s recovery and return to work have inspired many of his fans. His journey shows strength, determination, and the importance of early treatment.
