Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru got married on December 1 at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, marking one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of 2025.

But as congratulatory posts poured in, a storm brewed online involving Samantha’s former makeup artist Sadhna Singh.

Sadhna has alleged that she has been stalked and abused after making a cryptic post that many assumed was about the actor.

Samantha’s intimate wedding guest list included her long-time friends — director Nandini Reddy and designer Shilpa Reddy — but noticeably missing were stylist Preetam Jukalker and makeup artist Sadhna Singh, the two people who stood by her after her divorce from Naga Chaitanya in 2021.

Fans also pointed out that while Preetam continues to follow Samantha on social media, Sadhna no longer does, fuelling speculation of a fallout.

On the day of Samantha’s wedding, Sadhna made a cryptic post on her Instagram Stories: 'The villain plays the victim so well.'

She did not name anyone, but within minutes, many social media users assumed it was aimed at Samantha and began circulating screenshots.

Her story went viral and it led to a wave of comments and assumptions.

Samantha, Preetam, and Sadhna had once formed an inseparable trio, especially during Samantha's difficult phase post-divorce.

Preetam was even subjected to rumours linking him to Samantha. The sudden distance therefore led to heightened speculation after the post.

Hours after her cryptic story exploded online, Sadhna shared screenshots of abusive messages and claimed to have received from strangers. Posting an image of a user calling her a derogatory term, she wrote: “These are educated frustrated living being with brain frozen STALKING N ABUSING ME.”

She later added a Reel showing an animated character saying: “I am not agreeing with your analysis, I am not agreeing with your information. This absolutely misguided information to you, from where you have pick up this type of garbage, I do not know.”

Sadhna then addressed the trolling more directly by posting her own picture and writing: “You’ll investing sooooo much time & effort in your own built up stories - thank you so much mujhe yaad rakhne ke liye you‘ll are the real ‘vitamin ki goli‘ vitamin that gives me reason to LAUGH LOUDER. don’t STOP- let the hate keep coming in. P.S - peeche pade raho - lage raho munna bhai aur Munni beheno.”

What sparked the assumptions?

Followers began connecting dots because Sadhna and Preetam were constant presences in Samantha’s life after her divorce. Sadhna’s sudden unfollowing of the actor raised eyebrows.
