As tensions continue to rise across parts of the Middle East, several Indian celebrities have found themselves caught in the uncertainty. Among them is Kannappa actor Vishnu Manchu, who is currently in Dubai with his family.
The situation turned alarming after he shared visuals of missiles lighting up the night sky, revealing the fear and anxiety the developments have caused inside his home.
The actor had travelled to Dubai to spend time with his family when reports of strikes and retaliatory action began surfacing on February 28.
Soon after, Vishnu posted a video clip that appeared to show missile interceptions visible from outside his residence. In his caption, he described the terrifying moment when loud interception sounds shook their home and frightened his young daughter, Ayra.
He wrote that no child should have to grow up hearing the sounds of war overhead. Expressing his concern, Vishnu added, “Moments like this remind us how fragile life really is. Praying for strength and Peace. Har Har Mahadev.”
He also thanked the UAE defense forces for ensuring civilian safety during the tense situation, acknowledging their efforts to maintain order amid uncertainty.
Reacting to the developments, his sister Lakshmi Manchu expressed concern for her brother and his family. Taking to her X account on Monday, Lakshmi shared an emotional note, calling the circumstances “difficult times” and saying she was praying for their safety in Dubai.
She wrote that situations feel more personal when they involve one’s own family. Extending her prayers, Lakshmi concluded, “Holding you all close in my heart. May God’s grace surround you. Only love shall prevail.”

The escalation follows reported strikes launched by the United States and Israel on Iran on February 28. Iran later stated that it carried out retaliatory actions targeting Israel and a United States military facility in Bahrain. Explosions were reported in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, and Kuwait, intensifying fears across the region.
Authorities in parts of the Gulf have implemented precautionary measures, including temporary airspace restrictions, leading to disruptions in commercial flight operations and leaving several travelers stranded.
Apart from Vishnu Manchu, other Indian celebrities reportedly impacted include Tamil actor and professional racer Ajith Kumar, badminton player Saina Nehwal, and actresses Esha Gupta and Sonal Chauhan.
