The family of actor Karanvir Bohra recently organised a prayer meet for his father, veteran producer Mahendra Bohra, who passed away earlier this month. The gathering took place on Sunday, March 8, in Mumbai, where friends, colleagues and well-wishers from the industry came together to pay their final respects.

The prayer meet was held at Khatwari Darbar from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Among those present to offer condolences was veteran actress Helen, who was seen arriving at the venue and paying her last tribute to the late producer.

Videos shared by paparazzi on social media captured Helen interacting with Karanvir Bohra during the prayer gathering. Her presence reflected the deep respect many in the industry had for Mahendra Bohra.

Following his father’s passing, Karanvir Bohra shared an emotional message on social media remembering him and expressing the profound impact he had on his life. The actor posted a touching video montage featuring cherished moments spent with his father over the years.

Alongside the video, Karanvir wrote a deeply heartfelt note reflecting on his father’s life and legacy. The post read, “Love you, Dad. I’m going to miss you more than words can ever say. Anyone who has lost a parent knows the kind of ache it leaves behind. But even in this pain, I find peace in knowing you lived a full, beautiful life. You left us the way you always wished to… peacefully and without suffering. You used to say you wanted to leave this world with your boots on… and that’s exactly how you went. Strong. Dignified. On your own terms.”

He further wrote, “You taught me everything that truly matters. To stay hopeful, no matter how hard life gets. To bounce back when you fall. To live with energy, with passion, with positivity. To never give up. Your spirit was unstoppable, and you made sure that spirit lived in me too.”

Karanvir also added, “You taught me to dream, to be a producer’s actor, never to leave the set without finishing your shot. You taught me to create. You taught me to be kind. You taught me to carry myself with style and grace, just like you did. Not just in the way we dress, but in the way we treat people. Every single person who speaks about you says the same thing what a good man he was. And they’re right. You were a rare soul.”

Mahendra Bohra passed away on March 2, 2026, in Mumbai at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife, his son Karanvir Bohra and a daughter. His passing has left family, friends and colleagues mourning the loss of a respected figure in the industry.
