
Haryanvi singer Sapna Choudhary, who gained fame after appearing on Bigg Boss 11, is currently featured on The 50. The singer is now in news for negative reasons after making a racist comments about Nigerian rapper Yung Sammy on the show, ridiculing his skin colour.
While Sapna was outside in the sun talking to other contestants, in the discussion, she reportedly remarked that many watchers have called it racist. Sapna said, "Dhoop mein kaala toh nahi ho jaungi na?" After a while, Sapna called Sammy and remarked, pointing at him, "Aise toh nahi ho jaungi na?"
Actor Karan Patel also heard Sapna's comments and subsequently talked about the incident with Shiv Thakare, Krishna Shroff, Dino James, and Riddhi Dogra, who reportedly showed surprise.
Shiv and Karan additionally mentioned that the comment was acknowledged, with Sammy replying that the same message could have been expressed in a more respectful and suitable way.
Yung Sammy, renowned for his hit Hindi rap songs like Raat Khatam, G Class, and Mr. Rambo, is now a prominent contestant on The 50.
His distinctive path and loyal following have made his appearance on the show noteworthy. The 50 is a challenging reality competition that unites 50 participants from various backgrounds, evaluating their physical stamina, mental fortitude, and emotional toughness.
Although confrontations and conflicts are anticipated in these formats, numerous viewers have expressed that racist or discriminatory comments should be unacceptable.
Moneycontrol recently reported that Digvijay Rathee asked Rajat Dalal why he remained quiet while others were insulting him. "Jab dusre log gaali de rahe the, tab tera muh nahi khula (When others were abusing, you did not utter a word)," Digvijay told Rajat.
Upon hearing this, Rajat launched a fierce assault on Digvijay. Other famous contestants hurried to Digvijay and Rajat to sort out the issue.
The promo also revealed a confrontation between Sapna Chaudhary and Adnaan Shaikh. In the video, Sapna criticized Adnaan, stating, “Tu soch raha hai chadh ke aayega do log toh main kuch nahi bolungi. (You think that if you verbally attack me, I will not say anything.)"
The series is a remake of the American reality show Los 50, which is originally inspired by the French series Les Cinquante.
