The upcoming reality show 'The 50' has been making headlines for its star-studded lineup and the format of the game. Monalisa and her husband, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot, are two of the popular names who will be seen in the show.
In an exclusive conversation with Moneycontrol.com, Monalisa and Vikrant shared their thoughts on the game and how excited they are to participate.
Monalisa shared, “I am extremely excited to participate in the show with Vikrant. It is a very big platform, and I am looking forward to it. I feel lucky to have received the opportunity to be a part of such a popular show.”
Shedding light on the format of reality shows in the current scenario as compared to how it was seen in the past, Monalisa averred, “Social media has become very strong as compared to before. Also, I have noticed that there is more audience engagement as compared to before. The change is good. When I was in Bigg Boss, I came from a regional zone to a national platform, which is so huge. I have grown as a person, and I feel that I am more mature now. Personally, I do not have any strategy, as there are cameras everywhere, and one cannot act 24 by 7.”
Vikrant added, “I am very blunt and an open-minded person. I speak my heart out. I have always been that way, but I would like Monalisa to speak out and call a spade a spade. Yes, we have each other’s back, and there will be times when we might have a difference of opinion too. In Bigg Boss, there were 15 people, and yet there was so much chaos and so many fights, so here there will be 50 people. I can only imagine how mentally strong we would have to be. The only thing I feel is that we should have good chemistry.”
For the unversed, The 50 presents a reality show concept focused on unpredictability, where chaos impacts the game. Participants reside in a vast palace but receive no instructions, no particular tasks, and no clear strategy for how the competition will progress.
Each move in The 50 depends on personal evaluation.
The stars have to trust their instincts, evaluate risks, and comprehend others while enduring constant pressure to stay competitive.
The 50 sharply contrasts with typical reality shows that follow structured challenges, established elimination schedules, and strict regulations. The 50 is scheduled to debut on February 1, 2026.
