The excitement surrounding Naagin 7 is escalating dramatically, and understandably so. Blending intense drama with a touch of supernatural intrigue, the newest season is already thrilling fans.
The latest teaser has caused a frenzy on social media, suggesting a powerful new enemy: an enigmatic, shape-shifting wolf.
This mysterious predator is poised to encounter Ananta, the character played by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Notably, the promo implies that the wolf is not merely an antagonist—it could be the key factor that initiates Ananta’s change into a Naagin.
Though Colors TV and the producers are being tight-lipped, speculation is rife that television star Vivian D’Sena is the individual behind the wolf. A piece from The Times of India indicates that he will take on the character of an ‘ichchadhari bhediya,’ bringing a heightened level of intensity to the series.
It is yet to be determined if he is the hero or the ultimate antagonist, but his participation would undoubtedly alter the game.
The plot is set to take a somber, emotional twist. In this week's episodes, Purvi (portrayed by Eisha Singh) experiences a heartbreaking loss as her whole family is tragically killed in a terrible accident, suggests Pinkvilla.
Rumors suggest that these incidents could signal Eisha Singh’s departure from the series, as the antagonists wrongly think her character is the ‘real’ Naagin. This calamity is anticipated to drive Purvi into a vengeful state, likely aligning with Ananta finally accepting her serpent form.
At the forefront of the supernatural narrative are Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Namik Paul, and Eisha Singh, who lead an exceptional ensemble featuring Karan Kundrra, Alice Kaushik, and Beena Banerjee in significant roles. After its eagerly awaited debut on December 27, Naagin 7 has been supported by a solid cast that includes Nibedittaa Paal, Ashish Kaul, and Pyumori Mehta.
In an earlier interview, Priyanka mentioned her excitement on taking up the titular role.
She had shared, “ From Mouni Roy in Season 1 to Tejasswi Prakash in Season 6, every actor has embraced the role of Naagin with great commitment, and they have both upheld and contributed to the legacy of this cherished franchise. I drew inspiration from previous Naagins, examining how they showcased their unique strengths and interpretations of the character. Certainly, credit goes to the original Naagin, Mouni Roy, who established the standard and transformed it into a genuine cultural sensation.”
