Naagin 7 episode update December 28: Purvi and Ananta try to find their identities as the real naagin

Ekta Kapoor returns with the seventh season of her Naagin franchise. In the initial episode, Purvi starts seeing some changes in her body where she has marks on her body. She almost transforms into a naagin and her parents ask her to calm down and pacify her. The episode on December 27 also witnessed Ananta and Aryamann coming face to face and Purvi telling Ananta that he did not even look at her.

In the episode that aired yesterday (December 28), the supernatural drama takes place against the setting of Kumbh. It not only links this world with a fantasy universe, but it also ties terrorists who are about to attack India. In the midst of all this chaos, Pragati, the shesh naagin, welcomed her daughter, the world's guardian, Ananta.

The initial episode starts in the year 2001. Sadhus, gurus, and aghoris convene at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj but are unaware of the reason for their gathering. Moments later, Tushar Sinha (Karan Kundrra) arrives to inform them that India could confront a significant danger from its adversary by 2025. Tushar Sinha refrains from stating his name but reveals that, according to his research, a significant event is approaching.

Numerous saints disregard his caution, claiming it’s merely another territorial dispute, yet he demonstrates that he is an academic who analyzes nations' horoscopes and derives predictions from astrology, celestial movements, and historical events. To achieve this, he has even traveled to Nadi Mandir in South India and explored the future personally.

He also discloses that to protect India from its fury, there will be one entity who is neither male nor female, neither God nor Devil, neither animal nor any creature, but Mahadev’s blessing, the queen of Naglok, the protector of Anantkul—Ananta.

Meanwhile, certain terrorists enter India by crossing the border, and while traveling on the street, they halt at homes and press the doorbell. Parmeet and Nimrat unlock the door to provide them with water, but upon sensing something unusual about the visitors, the men swiftly decide to kill them. Conversely, the researcher sets out on a quest to locate Ananta, but prior to his departure, he entrusts his research to his son, cautioning him to protect it at all costs and to look after himself.

Tushar arrives at the house, but Ananta hasn't arrived yet. Here, the terrorists capture him to learn more about what he meant as the nation's protector. He states that Shiv’s vardani, Anantkul ki naagrani, will arrive to rescue everyone. On the opposite end, Pragati (Tejasswi Prakash) reaches the home. Pragati, the shesh naagin, gives birth to her daughter and names her Ananta. She claims the birth of her daughter serves a higher purpose, and then she dies.

The story moves twenty-four years ahead, where the audience sees Ananta (Eisha Singh) more closely as she resides in New Delhi now. She is a beautiful young woman who works as a fashion designer-stylist at a news station and possesses certain advantages. She has no fear of snakes, can effortlessly catch them with one hand, believes in Mahadev, and exudes a mystical aura. Yet, her sister Purvi (Priyanka Chahar Choudhary) is entirely different from her. She isn’t attractive, constantly feels chilly, and wears very unattractive clothes. However, the two sisters share a profound love for each other.

As the ichhadharinaagin matures into her current self, other ichhadharinaagins, such as Uttaranaagin, closely observe her development. Later, Ananta is shown preparing for an office party, and she also readies Purvi for the event. Celebrations are happening in other places for Aryaman receiving an award. Nonetheless, he displays a dismissive and sarcastic demeanor toward everyone he interacts with.

Conversely, Uttara naagin shares the history with the younger naagin at the temple. It started with Shivanya, then came Shivangi, followed by Bela, Brinda, Bani, Pratha, and Pragati. At this moment, fate has selected Ananta to become the upcoming shesh naagin. At home, Ananta’s parents talk about the deception they have hidden from their daughters. They have chosen the name Ananta for their daughter and Purvi for Pragati’s daughter to ensure her safety.

The episode concludes with Purvi entering the temple and confronting the transformation into a naagin at the age of 24. Purvi is unaware that she is a naagin. Thus, the plot of Naagin 7 is revealed.
