Actors Jennifer Winget and Karan Wahi have been making headlines recently after rumours about them tying the knot began doing the rounds on social media. Karan has now reacted to the speculation and cleared the air.
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Karan firmly denied the wedding rumours involving his longtime friend and co-star Jennifer Winget.
Addressing the buzz, he dismissed the reports as ‘fake news,’ effectively putting an end to the speculation for fans who had been rooting for the two to get married.
Jennifer and Karan first worked together in the popular television show Dil Mil Gaye, which went on to become a major hit. The show marked one of their early collaborations, with Jennifer essaying the role of Dr Riddhima Gupta and Karan Wahi portraying Dr Siddhant Modi.
Since then, the duo has shared a close friendship that has endured over the years. Nearly 14 years later, they reunited on screen in 2024 when they starred opposite each other in the web series Raisinghani vs Raisinghani.
Their on-screen chemistry was widely appreciated by viewers, and while their off-screen bond remained strong, rumours of them dating and eventually getting married began to circulate.
While Karan has been single for some time now, Jennifer was previously married to actor Karan Singh Grover. The two tied the knot in 2012 but parted ways after two years, with their separation officially announced in November 2014.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Jennifer Winget will next be seen in an untitled Netflix series alongside Parineeti Chopra, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Sumeet Vyas. Karan Wahi, on the other hand, has teamed up with actor Surbhi Jyoti for an upcoming show titled Seven And A Half Dates.
