So far, Bigg Boss has been touted to be one of the most controversial reality shows on television. With the 50 in the pipeline, let’s take a look at how the show will be different from the Salman Khan-hosted show.

According to a report in Filmibeat, The 50 offers a reality show idea centered on unpredictability, where disorder influences gameplay. Participants inhabit a large palace but are provided with no guideline, no specific assignments, and no definite plan for how the contest will unfold. Every action in The 50 relies on individual assessment.

The stars must rely on their instincts, assess risks, and understand others while facing ongoing pressure to remain competitive.

Also, The 50 will not have audience voting. Although Bigg Boss includes audience voting, The 50 won't permit fans to choose their favorites. The program will lack audience voting, but it will feature numerous tasks requiring contestants to demonstrate their quick thinking and survival skills. In contrast to Bigg Boss, which features physical challenges to some degree, The 50 will be filled with extremely challenging physical tasks.

The 50 stands in stark contrast to conventional reality shows that adhere to organized challenges, set elimination timelines, and have rigid rules, mentions the report.

In the 50s, the ability to adapt and psychological insight will be more important than physical power.

Furthermore, there will be changing alliances and even treachery as the competitors contend to succeed in the challenge. There isn't a set sequence or standard arrangement of challenges. Competitors perceive occurrences individually, then perform as they pursue triumph within an unstable competition.

The 50 is set to launch on February 1, 2026, and will broadcast on Colors TV while also streaming on JioHotstar. The creators have unveiled a puzzling promo showcasing Farah Khan's response to "The Lion," the host of the program, delivered with her signature straightforward humor. The promotion guarantees a thrilling and uncertain experience filled with tension, rivalry, and pivotal drama.
