Amid a swirl of online speculation, actor Teja Sajja has firmly put to rest rumours suggesting that he had exited Jai Hanuman, the much-anticipated sequel to Hanu-Man. On December 30, the actor’s team issued an official clarification, calling the reports “baseless and untrue” and urging fans and media outlets to refrain from spreading misinformation.

In a statement shared online, the team said, “All speculations regarding Teja Sajja’s upcoming films, including Jai Hanuman, are completely false. Everything remains exactly as it was before. There are absolutely no changes, and these rumours are baseless and untrue.” The message was clear and unambiguous, aimed at shutting down conjecture that had gained traction across social media platforms over the past few days.

The rumours had claimed that Teja Sajja was no longer associated with Jai Hanuman, with some reports suggesting that his role in the sequel was limited in scope. Others speculated that the actor was choosing to prioritise sequels to Zombie Reddy and Mirai, both backed by People Media Factory, and was deeply involved in script discussions for those projects. However, the clarification makes it clear that these narratives have no factual basis.

Jai Hanuman was officially announced by filmmaker Prasanth Varma as a grand-scale sequel rooted in the mythology and spirit of Lord Hanuman. The film stars Rishab Shetty in the lead role and is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. It also forms a key chapter in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, which has steadily built a strong following.

Teja Sajja, meanwhile, has emerged as one of the most reliable young stars in Telugu cinema following the success of Hanu-Man and Mirai. The latter, written and directed by Karthik Gattamneni, featured an ensemble cast and released in multiple languages in September, eventually crossing the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide.

With the clarification now on record, Teja Sajja’s team has reiterated that there have been no changes to his professional commitments. For now, Jai Hanuman remains firmly on track, and the actor continues to be part of an upcoming slate that has generated significant anticipation among fans.
