Actor Taapsee Pannu and her husband Mathias Boe. The two tied the knot last month in Udaipur.

"Dunki" actress Taapsee Pannu, who recently tied the knot with her longtime beau and badminton player Mathias Boe, spoke about her wedding in an interview.

Speaking with Hindustan Times for the first time after her wedding, Taapsee said she is not sure if she ever wants to make an official statement on social media about her Udaipur wedding.

She told the website, "I just am not very sure if I want to let my personal life and the people involved in it go through the kind of scrutiny that happens when a public figure gets married. It’s me who has signed up for this, not my partner or the people who were involved in the wedding. I am not sure about how I feel about it being out there; that’s why I’ve kept it to myself."

Unseen videos and photos of Taapsee from her wedding in Udaipur leaked online recently, and the actress made for the prettiest Sikhni bride dressed in a Punjabi suit and juttiyan (shoes) with paranda in her hair and lal chooda (red bangles worn by Punjabi brides).

This was her first interview after her wedding with Mathias. Even after the videos and photos were leaked online, Taapsee never issued any statement on social media about the wedding.

Taapsee, who is always quite friendly with the paparazzi whenever she is photographed in the city, said it was never her intention to keep her "wedding a secret." She further said that all her family and close friends were there for her special day. "The people who are genuinely close to me were a part of the celebration and always knew about my relationship and my intentions about when and how I want to get married."

Taapsee, who has done movies like "Haseen Dilruba" and "Manmarziyan," to name a few, clarified that she never wanted her wedding to be a public affair and that she just wanted to "enjoy the way I would want to do it."

Though the actress is pretty sure that she doesn't want to talk much about her wedding or make any official statement, she says that if in the future she ever thinks she wants, then "we will figure out how, what, and when I want to release something, if at all.”
