Sonu Sood seeks blessings at Timumala's Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple with family, announces new film Nandi

Actor Sonu Sood was recently spotted visiting Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala to offer prayers and seek blessing along with his family on Monday, June 2.

In a video shared by ANI on X, actor Sonu Sood is seen walking alongside his wife Sonali and sons Ishant and Ayaan, surrounded by others. Dressed in a light pink kurta, Sonu exuded grace and simplicity as he made his way through the crowd.

Speaking to ANI, he spoke about his experience visiting the holy shrine and also announced his latest film. "When I came here for the first time, it was 25 years ago. Today, I come here with my family. I pray for happiness, peace and prosperity for all in the world... We are starting a new project, a film 'Nandi' - I am acting and directing both. It will begin soon," added the actor.

Sonu Sood recently received the coveted Miss World Humanitarian Award, which he dedicated to the innumerable unsung heroes, such as mothers who pray for their children, students who overcome obstacles to pursue their education, and untiring migrants who travel great distances in pursuit of hope.

He posted touching photos of himself accepting the award from actor Rana Daggubati and holding the trophy with pride on Instagram.

He wrote in the caption, "This award belongs to every mother who prayed for a bus to take her child home, to every student who couldn’t afford education but never gave up dreaming, and to every migrant who walked miles yet never lost faith. Grateful and humbled to receive the Miss World Humanitarian Award,This is for every heart that cares."

Sonu Sood was last seen in Hindi film Fateh and Tamil film Madha Gaja Raja, both of which released earlier this year in January.
