Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par is all set to release in the theatres on June 20. The cast and crew are promoting the film in full swing. The comedy drama received a clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and issued a U/A 13+ certificate to the film yesterday.
However, a new report is surfacing on the internet claiming that the CBFC has ordered some major changes in the film. Previously, the reports suggested that Aamir had rejected the changes and edits recommended by the board.
The board's Revising Committee (RC), which is headed by Vaman Kendre, proposed five new changes and, after meeting with the filmmakers, approved the movie for its final screening.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the makers have been asked to make five changes in the film. The board has asked the makers to replace ‘Business Woman’ with ‘Business Person’ and ‘Michael Jackson’ with ‘Lovebirds’ in the film.

Additionally, the CBFC's Revising Committee has requested the filmmakers to include a quote from Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the opening disclaimer.
The British Censor Board has also officially given the clearance to the film with a 12A certificate. Sitaare Zameen Par is directed by R.S. Prasanna, a spiritual sequel to his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The 2 hours and 35 minutes film features 10 debutants and Genelia Deshmukh in the pivotal roles.
