Selena Gomez and Priyanka Chopra emerged as the biggest fashion powerhouses at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, topping the much-talked-about Red Carpet Power Rankings.
While the ceremony itself saw a noticeable dip in television viewership, the red carpet told a very different story, dominating social media conversations and driving massive digital engagement worldwide.
According to the latest Red Carpet Power Rankings compiled by The Hollywood Reporter in collaboration with data analytics firm Launchmetrics, fashion moments from the Golden Globes generated a combined USD 146.48 million in earned media value.
The rankings evaluated impact across five key categories: top fashion brands, top women and men on the red carpet, jewellery and watch brands, and accessory brands. As has become the norm in recent years, actresses and their fashion choices led the digital conversation.
Selena Gomez topped the list with a Media Impact Value (MIV) of USD 7.2 million. This marked her first Golden Globes red carpet appearance as a married woman, a detail that added to the public interest around her look.

Selena shared a single Instagram post featuring seven images and one video, which was enough to push her to the top spot, reflecting both her influence and the strong audience response to her appearance.
Close behind was Bollywood star and global icon Priyanka Chopra, who made a powerful impression despite not officially topping the rankings. Priyanka featured twice on the power list, a rare achievement. Her gown alone generated USD 5.9 million in MIV, while her luxury jewellery added another USD 4.9 million, taking her total impact to an impressive USD 10.8 million.
The report highlights Priyanka’s strong social media strategy as a key factor. With 94 million Instagram followers, she shared a 13-slide post featuring herself and husband Nick Jonas from the evening, which garnered over 1.5 million likes. She followed it up with a behind-the-scenes video and three additional posts showcasing her after-party looks, making her one of the most visible stars from the event online.
Among the other top women on the list was BLACKPINK member Lisa, whose single Instagram post earned 2.3 million likes from her 106 million followers. Ariana Grande rounded out the top five, continuing her consistent red carpet dominance.
In the men’s category, actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie led the rankings, each appearing twice due to strong engagement from their red carpet and broadcast moments. Jacob Elordi secured the fifth spot among the top men, adding to his growing presence on global fashion watchlists.
The 2026 Golden Globes may have struggled on television, but on social media, stars like Selena Gomez and Priyanka Chopra ensured the night remained a digital spectacle.
