Comedian Samay Raina, who has been embroiled in controversy following YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks on his show India’s Got Latent, has finally made his first social media move after deleting all episodes of the show.
Amid the ongoing backlash and legal scrutiny, Raina posted a cryptic message exclusively for his YouTube channel’s private subscribers. The post featured just a red heart and a hug emoji, seemingly a subtle message advocating love and calm amid the storm. Despite its minimalistic nature, the post garnered over 7,000 likes at the time of publishing, indicating strong engagement from his audience.

The uproar began when Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, appeared on India’s Got Latent earlier this month. During the episode, he posed a highly inappropriate question to a young contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?"
The shocking query sparked widespread outrage, with viewers and critics condemning the alleged vulgarity. The controversy escalated quickly, drawing the attention of the Information & Broadcasting Ministry and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). Following their intervention, the video was swiftly taken down from YouTube.
In the wake of the backlash, Raina took swift action by removing all India’s Got Latent episodes from his channel. Addressing the issue on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you."
Despite the controversy, Raina has continued with his live performances. During a recent stand-up gig in Canada, he emotionally addressed the situation in front of his audience. Before concluding the show, he left his fans with a powerful statement, "Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon (Maybe my time is bad right now, but remember, my friends—I am time itself)."
