The sixth season of Bigg Boss Marathi officially kicked off today, setting the tone for a dramatic and personality-driven journey inside the house. Hosted by Riteish Deshmukh, the premiere episode blended entertainment with symbolism, giving audiences an early glimpse into how contestants plan to play the game.
One of the most talked-about moments of the launch came from actor-comedian Sagar Karande, best known for his work on Chala Hawa Yeu Dya. Karande revealed that Bigg Boss had been knocking on his door for a while now. “I have been getting the invitation from last three years,” he shared candidly. This time, however, he felt ready to step in.
Explaining his mindset, Sagar compared the game to cricket, hinting at a calm but tactical approach. “I have decided to play the game like a cricket. I will decide to react like the situations will come,” he said, underlining that he does not plan to pre-script his moves. Emphasising his life philosophy, the actor added, “I have worked hard all my life and I have decided to choose the door of ‘hard work’.” Making the moment lighter, host Riteish Deshmukh handed him cleaning tools for the bathroom, a playful gesture that instantly set expectations about duties and discipline inside the house.
Another early highlight was the entry of Deepali Sayyed, who chose a very different path. Deepali opted for the door labelled ‘short-cut’. Her decision came with a surprising twist, as she was informed that she would not be assigned any household duties. The choice sparked immediate chatter, hinting at future debates around fairness, privilege, and strategy.
Adding cultural flavour to the mix, Khandeshi singer Sachin Kumawat made a confident entry into the Bigg Boss house. Speaking about his larger purpose, Sachin said he wants the Khandeshi language to reach audiences beyond regional boundaries. He expressed his desire to see it “spread to the entire world,” positioning his participation as more than just a game, but a platform for representation.
