Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan recently celebrated an important milestone in his career as his debut film Marina marked 14 years, showcasing his journey in the film industry. To honour this occasion, he visited the Tiruchendur Murugan Temple with his family to seek blessings.

Several pictures from the temple visit appeared on social media and went viral. The images showcased Sivakarthikeyan’s strong respect for faith and family, even as he achieves new levels of success in his career.

After his temple visit, Sivakarthikeyan spoke to the media and thanked fans for their support as he celebrated fourteen years in cinema.

According to Nakkheeran, the actor mentioned that the consistent love and support from his fans inspire him to give back and serve the film industry with greater commitment. His message emphasized that even with fourteen years in the industry, nothing is guaranteed. He highlighted the need for ongoing effort and humility.

During the interaction, Sivakarthikeyan also hinted at his upcoming projects, sharing that the story, director, and crew for his next film have already been chosen. He added that the makers will make an official announcement about the project soon.

Meanwhile, the actor is preparing for the release of Thaai Kizhavi, a film he has produced. The movie is set to premiere on February 20.

Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Parasakthi, which premiered in theaters on January 10 this year after clearing the censor process just a day before its release.

The film was originally planned to be released alongside Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, scheduled for January 9, 2026. However, Parasakthi faced an indefinite delay after the Censor Board initially refused to grant certification, resulting in a legal battle.

The film did well at the box office despite legal hurdles.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, Parasakthi takes place in 1960s Madras and explores the social and political tensions in Tamil Nadu during the anti-Hindi protests. Like Jana Nayagan, the film encountered censor-related hurdles before finally receiving a UA certificate with 25 edits, right in time for its theatrical release.
