Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, long rumoured to be a couple, are reportedly gearing up for their wedding on February 26 this year. Fans have now even caught a glimpse of the types of flowers expected to feature at this grand celebration.

Buzz suggests the couple has zeroed in on Udaipur for their big day, finalising a heritage palace in Rajasthan as the wedding venue.

Interestingly, the wedding is already creating a ripple effect beyond cinema circles. The floriculture industry is gearing up for what is being described as one of the most talked-about weddings of the season.

Speaking to the media, Flower Council of India president Srikanth Bollepalli said, “In weddings held anywhere in India, cut flowers are sent from Bengaluru. In the same way, this year flowers from Karnataka will be sent for the wedding of actress Rashmika Mandanna and actor Vijay Deverakonda.”

Karnataka, India’s largest floriculture hub, sees its busiest period between January and February, with weddings driving business worth nearly Rs 1,000 crore in just 45 days.

When Rashmika Mandanna was recently asked about the wedding rumours, she chose not to confirm or deny them, responding with quiet composure. Both she and Vijay Deverakonda have consistently kept their personal lives away from public scrutiny, and this milestone appears no different.

Reports also claim that the two got engaged on 3 October 2025 at Vijay Deverakonda’s Hyderabad home, in a private ceremony that was kept completely under wraps. No photographs were shared, and no official announcement was made — a move that reflects how fiercely the couple values their privacy.

As for celebrations beyond the wedding, there is still uncertainty. While some reports hint at a possible reception for the film industry in Hyderabad, nothing has been finalised so far.

A source close to the couple earlier told Hindustan Times, “Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding is planned to take place on February 26 at a palace in Udaipur. They have finalised one of the heritage properties. Much like their engagement, the plan is to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with only their loved ones in attendance.”

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda first connected on screen with Geetha Govindam (2018) and later Dear Comrade (2019).
