When people talk about how much they love cars, the conversation often goes in unexpected directions. When Ram Charan talked honestly about driving fast and said which actor he would trust behind the wheel, the answer led right to his RRR co-star Jr. NTR.

Ram Charan was on the Season 2 finale of the car talk show Cars With Stars not too long ago. He was asked an interesting question: if he had to sit in the passenger seat and drive at a breakneck speed of 250 kmph, which actor would he trust? Ram quickly named Jr NTR, but he couldn't help but make a joking comment about how his friend drives.

The actor said that he usually likes to drive himself instead of letting someone else do it. Ram talked about Jr NTR's driving style and said that very few actors really enjoy driving. He said that NTR was an intense and fearless driver. He said that friends who had been in the passenger seat while NTR drove had told him some strange stories, and he remembered having one of those experiences himself. Still, Ram thought that Jr NTR was probably the safest choice among his friends, even though it was exciting.

When asked if there was any actor he would never want to sit next to while the car was moving, Ram chose not to name names and stayed diplomatic.

Ram Charan and Jr NTR shared the screen in SS Rajamouli's blockbuster RRR (2022), which was a huge hit around the world and showed off their strong chemistry on screen. Their friendship off screen got just as much attention, especially since the Konidela and Nandamuri families have been thought to be rivals for a long time.

Ram had talked about this story openly during the movie's promotional phase. He said that after hearing about rivalry for decades, choosing friendship was the only smart choice. Jr NTR said the same thing, calling their relationship a strong support system where both actors help each other and trust each other in a way that the public can't see. Reports say that their friendship started years ago at a cricket tournament for famous people.

Both stars are still busy with big projects in their professional lives. Ram Charan was in Shankar's Game Changer in 2025, and now he is getting ready for Buchi Babu Sana's new sports drama Peddi, which will come out in March. On the other hand, Jr NTR just made his Bollywood debut in Ayan Mukerji's War 2. He is now working on a big project directed by Prashanth Neel, but the details haven't been made public yet.
