Actor Allu Arjun, along with his security team, among 23, have been named in the chargesheet in the Pushpa 2 stampede case.
According to media sources, the Hyderabad police have filed a chargesheet in the stampede case related to Pushpa 2: The Rule launch, naming actor Allu Arjun as one of the offenders.
The chargesheet also names his manager. The actor is the 11th accused in the case. The performer, members of his team, and the theatre management had already been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder by the authorities.
The complaint concerns a stampede that occurred during the premiere event, resulting in the death of a mother and serious injury to her child.
Police officials have insisted that the organisers are in charge of guaranteeing public safety at such large-scale events. According to reports, the chargesheet describes how poor planning and a lack of crowd control led to the fatal stampede.
