Manya Anand clarifies her previous comment

Manya Anand, a TV actress, has given a long explanation after a viral video said she had accused Dhanush's manager, Sreyas, of asking for inappropriate "commitments" for a movie role. After she talked to Cineulagam, where she said she got a strange call from someone claiming to be Dhanush's representative, the controversy started.

As more and more people talked about it online and some news outlets framed her comments as an accusation against Dhanush's team, Manya made an Instagram video to explain that her comments were taken out of context. In response, Sreyas also made a formal statement and said that he had filed a police report about the misuse of his name.

Manya Says Her Words Were Misunderstood

The Vanthai Pola actress made it clear in her Instagram video that she never accused Dhanush or his team. Instead, she talked about getting a call from a stranger who said he was Sreyas and promised her a part in a Dhanush movie in exchange for a "commitment."

"Recently, a video from one of my interviews went viral, saying that Manya Anand is accusing Dhanush's manager," she said. "I made it very clear in my Cineulagam interview that I didn't know if the person who called me was real or fake." I wasn't accusing anyone; I was just trying to raise awareness.

Manya said that her original goal was to warn actors about fake callers using the names of movie stars, but YouTube channels "twisted" the story to make it look like she was directly accusing Dhanush's team.

She said, "It was broadcast as if I meant that Dhanush sir's name was being used wrong." "The video that was supposed to raise awareness has turned into an accusation video. It hurts me deeply that people are using my name to hurt someone else. People are only editing and sharing my video to get views.

Sreyas, the manager, makes a statement and files a police report.

After Manya explained things, Dhanush's manager Sreyas, posted his own statement on social media. He said again that he and Wunderbar Films have been impersonated for years.

His statement said, "I want to say again that any casting calls, messages, or offers made in my name or in the name of Wunderbar Films Pvt Ltd are completely fake and have no basis."

The background and context of the industry

People know Manya Anand from her role in the Tamil serial Vanthai Pola. Her recent interview was meant to bring attention to the common problem of fake callers who promise newcomers film jobs that aren't real, often using the names of big stars and production companies to do so.
