Actor Mahesh Babu has reportedly returned to Hyderabad after completing an international shooting schedule for his upcoming film Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli.
According to a report by 123Telugu, the actor recently wrapped up the Georgia schedule of the ambitious project and has now flown back to India. The report also states that Mahesh Babu is expected to spend a few days in Hyderabad before leaving for Antarctica, where the next phase of filming is scheduled to take place.
A video currently circulating on social media shows the actor exiting the airport shortly after his arrival. In the clip, Mahesh Babu appears relaxed and stylish in a casual yet chic outfit. He was seen wearing a collared brown bomber jacket layered over a black shirt, paired with matching track pants.
He completed the look with sunglasses and a white baseball cap. In recent appearances, the actor has frequently been spotted wearing a cap, likely due to the long hair and beard he has grown for his role in the film.
Earlier, the film’s title teaser offered a glimpse of Mahesh Babu’s character, Rudhra, and hinted at a story that unfolds across multiple global locations. The teaser also featured timestamps that suggested the possibility of a time-travel element in the narrative.
The film’s music is composed by M. M. Keeravani, while the story has been written by V. Vijayendra Prasad.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu recently took to social media to celebrate the Indian cricket team’s victory after they successfully defended their title at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Sharing a picture of the team, he wrote, “What was that!!! A magnificent testimony to Team India’s dominance, unleashing full beast mode to bring it home for 1.4 billion hearts... Exemplary performances from Samson, Abhishek, Ishan, Dube, Bumrah, Axar and everyone who made this unforgettable... Congratulations Team India. History keeps turning its pages with glory for the nation. Jai Hind.”
