Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav, better known by his stage name Nirahua, has once again made headlines, but not for his film or songs. He made shocking comments about his marriage and his opinions on love, igniting discussions on social media and in the entertainment industry.

During a recent interview with Digital Commentary, Nirahua, who has been married to Mansha Devi since 2000 and has two sons, talked about his early marriage and said that he still harbours regrets.

Additionally, he revealed that he has asked his boys to choose life partners on their own.

He said, "I told my sons that you should get married by your own choice. My parents forced me into marriage. I kept saying, please let me do something first. Let me become something. I do regret that. Your life partner should be someone you love. That did not happen in my case."

The actor admitted that even though he has performed his duties, he thinks that something is lacking on an emotional level. Nirahua went one step further and revealed that he had been open about his emotions to his wife and kids.

He said, "I told my children that I was never able to love their mother. I have also told my wife that I never loved her. Yes, it is my duty that since my parents got us married, I am fulfilling that responsibility. I do feel guilty about it. That is why I will not do the same with my children. I will never tell them that they have to do things a certain way. I will not force them."

He clarified that he feels bad about the absence of emotional ties in his marriage, even if he still supports it out of obligation to his parents' choice. He claimed that this shame is the exact reason he won't force his kids to make the same choices.

Regarding his family, Nirahua revealed that his younger son aspires to be an actor, while his older son is pursuing a career in directing. He stated unequivocally that he opposes pushing vocational choices, just as he does with marriage.

He said, "I first asked my children which field they wanted to go into, because I will not impose anything on them. My elder son said he wanted to pursue direction, so he went into direction. My younger one said he wanted to become an actor, so he entered this field. I told them to take proper training. I know that if you do something you truly like, you will do it well."

The Bhojpuri actor claims he wants to give his sons the independence he did not have in his own life by letting them pursue their own paths in both love and work.
