Dileep's action-comedy movie Bha Bha Ba came out in theaters on December 18, 2025, just before Christmas. Now it's getting ready to come out on digital. The movie will reach a bigger audience through its OTT release after it finishes its run in theaters.

Details about the OTT release

Starting January 16, 2026, ZEE5 will stream Bha Bha Ba. The platform made the announcement on social media, which confirmed the release date for Malayalam. ZEE5 called the movie a "powerhouse entertainer" in the update, which got fans who missed it in theaters or are eager to see it again excited.

Highlights of the story and trailer

The movie starts off with a shocking twist: a man who calls himself the "Commoner" kidnaps CK Joseph, the newly elected Chief Minister of Kerala. After taking the CM hostage, he goes into hiding and tells regular people to write down their complaints and send them to him, promising to personally deliver them to the Chief Minister.

A special police team led by the CM's son, Noble, starts a huge manhunt to find the kidnapper as the state goes into a panic. The story quickly reveals that the "Commoner" is Ram Damodar, also known as Radar, a man who is having trouble with his mental health.

Radar's parents died when he was very young, so he grew up in a mental health facility. There, he met Ghilli Bala, a feared gangster and a big fan of Thalapathy Vijay. Over time, Radar works his way up the ranks to become Bala's trusted assistant. He eventually takes over the gang, which is heavily involved in smuggling gold. The movie then turns into an action-comedy with a lot of jokes, looking into the real reason for the kidnapping, the secret connections between Radar and the CM, and the people who are helping him carry out his daring plan.

Cast and crew

Dileep is the main character in the movie, and he is supported by a large cast that includes Vineeth Sreenivasan, Baiju Santhosh, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Sandy Master, Balu Varghese, Saranya Ponvannan, Fahim Safar, Senthil Krishna, and Sidharth Bharathan, among others. Mohanlal, SJ Suryah (in his first Malayalam film), Salim Kumar, and others also make special cameo appearances in the movie.

Dhananjay Shankar makes his directorial debut with Bha Bha Ba, which was written by real-life couple Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef. Gokulam Gopalan and Krishnamoorthy make the movie under the Gokulam Productions name. Shaan Rahman wrote the songs, and Gopi Sundar wrote the music that goes with them.
