According to reports, the couple has decided to have only close relatives and friends attend the wedding. They will marry in an intimate ceremony and have a lavish reception in Hyderabad on March 4, 2026,  at Taj Krishna, after their wedding in Udaipur.

Rashmika and Vijay crossed paths for the first time while working on the 2018 film Geetha Govindam. They again collaborated for Dear Comrade (2019). They have kept their romance a secret until wedding rumours started swirling around the internet.
