Renowned actor and conservationist Randeep Hooda has secured a legal victory in his ongoing dispute over alleged illegal construction on his property near Kanha National Park.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered a joint inspection to investigate the claims. Hooda has also initiated a defamation suit worth Rs. 80 crores against the Sub-Divisional Magistrate for making false accusations.

Randeep Hooda, known for his roles in films like Swatantrya Veer Savarkar and Sarbjit, is also a wildlife conservation enthusiast. He had purchased land near Kanha National Park to embrace a nature-centric lifestyle. However, he soon faced allegations of illegal construction on the property from local authorities, who ordered the removal of the supposed structures. Hooda challenged these claims and sought a joint inspection to verify the accusations.

While the court did not address the show-cause notice issued to Hooda, it has directed authorities to provide the previous inspection report for his review.

Vineet Dhanda and Siddharth Sharma, Randeep Hooda's lawyers, have expressed anger at the baseless accusations made against their client. They argue that Hooda's celebrity profile is the driving force behind the claims, which ignores his standing as a devout conservationist and respected citizen. The original inquiry report, which serves as the foundation for the show-cause notice, was not provided by the authorities, as the team has also brought attention to.

However, the legal team welcomed the court’s decision to release the withheld report and allow them to present their case. They expect the upcoming inspection to prove their claim that no construction has taken place on Hooda’s property.
