Rajamouli hails Prabhas for his performance in Kalki 2898 AD

Acclaimed director S.S. Rajamouli watched the movie and expressed his enthusiasm on Twitter.

The highly anticipated global sci-fi film "Kalki 2898 AD," directed by Nag Ashwin and featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, has taken the cinematic world by storm. After much anticipation, the movie was finally released on June 27.

Acclaimed director S.S. Rajamouli watched the movie and expressed his enthusiasm on Twitter.

He wrote, “Loved the world-building of Kalki 2898 AD. It transported me into various realms with its incredible settings. Darling just killed it with his timing and ease. Great support from Amitabh ji, Kamal sir, and Deepika. The last 30 minutes of the film took me to a whole new world. Kudos to Nagi and the entire Vyjayanthi team for their unmatched efforts in executing it.”

Rajamouli also appeared in a cameo role in the film and shared the screen with Prabhas. The duo had previously worked in the popular films Bahubali and Bahubali 2 after which Prabhas rose to fame pan-India.

Kalki 2898 AD has set the box office on fire right from the day of its release. The Hindi version of the film raked in a whopping ₹22.50 crore net on its opening day, showcasing a strong debut.
