Raj Kundra is gearing up to join the high-stakes reality series The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar. At the recently held trailer launch event, Raj opened up about his game plan for navigating the competition.
With a touch of humour, he shared that he fully intends to play the “nepo-husband” card during the show, offering a glimpse into the tongue-in-cheek strategy he plans to bring to the intense and deceptive environment of the series.
Raj shared that the mystery behind his mask might help him navigate the game. “Whenever I have worn a mask in my life, many have often wondered what I am hiding behind the mask. There has been a mystery behind it, so I think that mystery might help me in this game,” he said.
He further added, “The Traitors is a Kalyug show, and it would not be easy to recognise a friend or an enemy. With this strategy, I hope that the mystery might help me in this game. Last but not least, Karan Johar sir is hosting the show, so I will definitely use the nepo husband card,” he concluded with a laugh.
The Traitors is preparing for its eagerly awaited June 12 premiere on Prime Video, set against the magnificent backdrop of Rajasthan's royal Suryagarh Palace. Twenty famous contestants compete in this exciting unscripted series in a game based on survival, deceit, and trust. Every Thursday at 8 PM, new episodes will air, leading up to an exciting grand finale.
This season's lineup features a diverse mix of well-known personalities including Anshula Kapoor, Apoorva Mukhija, Uorfi Javed, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Jasmine Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Sufi Motiwala.

The idea is surprisingly straightforward: in order to win the coveted title and a sizeable cash prize, the competitors must overcome a number of difficult mental and physical tasks. The true twist, however, is the covert betrayal—host Karan Johar will handpick a select few to play traitors without the other cast members knowing. These clandestine saboteurs must work covertly, controlling the group and destroying others without coming forward.
With its captivating format, opulent setting, and intriguing mix of celebrity players, The Traitors promises a rollercoaster of suspense and strategy. All eyes are particularly on Raj Kundra, whose participation—paired with his now-iconic mask—has sparked considerable buzz. As the drama unfolds, viewers can expect mind games, alliances, backstabbing, and revelations that will keep them on the edge of their seats.
