Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has recently received a huge relief in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has reportedly provided Rhea and her family a clean chit five years after Sushant died by suicide.
Sushant Singh Rajput's death fueled several controversies and accusations and his case was transferred to CBI. However, the investigation bureau has recently concluded that there was no evidence of foul play in the actor’s tragic death.
However, Pooja Bhatt has recently shown her support to Rhea after the CBI closed the case. The actress has re-shared an old tweet of Akshay Kumar and penned her support.
Pooja Bhatt wrote, “The CBI’s March 22, 2025, closure report confirms Sushant Singh Rajput’s death as suicide with no foul play, clearing #RheaChakraborty and others. The truth has prevailed.” She concluded, “#Prayers answered.”

For the unversed, the CBI was investigating two cases, one was filed by Sushant’s father, KK Singh, and another one was by Rhea Chakraborty.
Sushant’s father filed a police complaint in Patna, accusing Rhea of abetment of suicide and taking Rs 15 crore from his accounts. Meanwhile, Rhea filed a complaint with Bandra police, saying Sushant's sisters gave him medicines based on a fake prescription from a Delhi hospital.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Shouvik, in connection with his death. They had been questioned for hours multiple times in this regard.
