Pakistani child star Umar Shah, known for his appearances on popular television shows Jeeto Pakistan and Shan-i-Ramazan, passed away in Dera Ismail Khan on Monday, September 15. He was 15-year-old.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by his brother, TikTok star Ahmed Shah, who shared on Instagram, “Our family’s little shining star, Umar Shah, has returned to his Creator. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.” He also asked fans to pray for Umar and for strength for the grieving family.
According to reports, Umar Shah passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest.
Umar’s funeral prayers were offered on Daraban Road, where a large number of relatives, friends, and locals gathered to pay their respects. He was laid to rest in Zakhori Sharif graveyard. Teachers and staff from his school placed flowers on his grave and expressed their sorrow, describing his passing as a huge loss.
According to Umar’s uncle and mentor, Daniyal Shah, his health suddenly deteriorated the previous night.
According to reports, he was quickly rushed to the hospital after Umar started vomiting profusely. Daniyal further revealed that recently a poisonous snake was found and killed at their residence, although it was unclear whether his demise was related to it.

Umar’s untimely death has left his family, friends, and countless fans in shock. Several Pakistani actors and television artists including Mahira Khan, Momal Sheikh, Shaista Lodhi, Hina Altaf, Fahad Mustafa and more poured in tribute and condolensces for the young actor who passed away too soon.
