Sofia Vergara reveals she was scared of her cellulite during filming sex scenes for ‘Griselda’, calls herself ‘vain’

Sofia Vergara opened up about feeling insecure and scared of how her cellulite will look while shooting sex scenes for Netflix’s ‘Griselda.’ Vergara recalled how “worried” she felt and that shooting intimate scenes were completely out of her comfort zone.

She said, “I don’t think I’ve ever done like, a sex scene.” The star noted that she never had to film sex scenes in ‘Modern Family’ with co-star Ed O’Neill.

"I'm 50! I mean, when I was 30, I wouldn't have worried. I think I was worried that I was going to look horrific,” Vergara explained, “I was like, ‘Where are they shooting me? The cellulite? From the side.’ Uh, I'm vain I guess. That one kept me awake I think.”

While being a bit hesitant to shoot the intimate scenes for the crime miniseries, Vergara revealed that ultimately the scenes “came out good.”

She said, “It’s really dark and Andy [Baiz], the director, is very artistic and he made me feel super comfortable and he's like, ‘We're never going to stay like a long time on you [the camera].’”

The Emmy winner also recently discussed her relationship with aging.

“I’m going to fight it every step of the way. I know I don’t look the same. But I don’t think I am going to ever be the woman that has the courage to be, like, all-white hair,” Vergara admitted.

She also shared her plans to indulge in cosmetic surgery once she finds time in her busy schedule.

“I feel like you have to take advantage of everything that is out there. I mean, if you care about aging. I feel like I'm going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I'm ready,” she said.
