Shark Tank India’s Shark and Shaadi.com’s Anupam Mittal urged Indian citizens to step out and cast their votes. The first phase of polling began today, and many southern actors were seen casting their votes in Tamil Nadu.

Anupam Mittal took to his X account and tweeted: “India has 30 odd holidays this year; your Election Day isn’t one of them. Go out and vote now.”


He also shared the same on his Instagram account and said exercising your franchise is more important than even your shaadi. "Janhit me jaari, Shaadi se bhi zaroori", he wrote while sharing it on his Instagram account.

Anupam Mittal is currently busy with his TV show ‘Shark Tank.’ He has a busy day as he has to shoot for his show and manage his firm.

The entrepreneur shared another video of him working on his laptop while his hair and make-up team did their jobs.

He wrote, “Gotta 'make-up’ for lost time."

Talking about the first phase of Lok Sabha Polls 2024, the voting will be held in seven phases. The first phase began today, and the counting is on June 4.

Over 16.63 crore voters, including 35.67 lakh first-timer voters, are heading to 1.87 lakh polling booths set up in 102 seats across 21 states and union territories.

All 39 seats in Tamil Nadu, 12 out of 25 in Rajasthan, eight of the 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, six seats in Madhya Pradesh, and five seats in Uttarakhand go to polls today.

Chenna city in Tamil Nadu witnessed a star-studded polling booth with Tamil superstars Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, Ajith, and Vijay Sethupathi stepping out to cast their votes.

Rajinikanth also appealed to his fans and Indian citizens to come out and cast their vote. He also asked his fans to not treat it as just a holiday but use their right and step out to vote.
