Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first online series 'Heeramandi' had its premiere in Mumbai on Wednesday, the April 24, with many stars from the movie world attending, including those who acted in the series itself. Genelia Deshmukh watched the first two episodes and shared her thoughts on social media.
She expressed her excitement and appreciation for the series, noting the captivating experience Bhansali created. "Just saw 2 episodes of Heeramandi, and it has me craving for more. What a world, what a journey you take us through, Sanjay Sir. Mesmerised as always. Loved, loved, loved the entire cast and what a super effort by the crew too. Netflix, this is truly special," Genelia posted, alongside a photo with Bhansali.

Esha Deol also watched 'Heeramandi' and was particularly impressed with Fardeen Khan's acting, welcoming him back and expressing pride in his work. On Instagram, she shared her admiration for Bhansali, "Spectacular show. Welcome back, Fardeen Khan, proud of you," including a video from the event. Tanishaa Mukerji recommended the show highly, calling it "an absolute must-watch".
'Heeramandi' is a historical drama described as an epic tale involving love, power, betrayal, and the pursuit of freedom. It unfolds during the time of India's struggle for independence.
