The Haryanvi singer Pranjal Dahiya, who rose to fame with her viral hit 52 Gaj Ka Daman, is making headlines once more. This time, it's not because of her most recent song, but rather because of her firm stance on artist safety and decorum.
In the final week of December 2025, the singer had to abruptly end her live performance due to rude audience behaviour. Observing the chaos and the fans attempting to enter the stage, Dahiya made the decision to address the issue.
She made it clear to the audience that even though she was entertaining them, respect for one another was essential.
In the widely shared video, a furious Dahiya confronts a middle-aged man, stating that she is "young enough to be his daughter" and pleading with everyone to maintain their dignity.
Although it is extremely difficult for a performer to decide to stop performing live, Pranjal Dahiya's decision is a blatant example of the growing demand for artists to take responsibility for their actions.
The singer said during the concert, “Sir, I am the same age as your daughter. Please, be in control.”
In addition, she requested that no one from the audience approach the stage and asked for their assistance so that the event could continue uninterrupted.

She shifted the focus from her performance to the audience's inappropriate behaviour by turning off the music. Reports state that the disturbance began when some individuals made crude remarks and tried to enter the stage.
The message that female artists need a safe workplace was effectively communicated by Dahiya's protest. She sent a clear and powerful message to the industry that the quality of a show is directly correlated with the behaviour of its audience by refusing to perform again until the situation was under control.
