Mridul Tiwari donates Rs 50 lakh from his Bigg Boss fees to children’s welfare

Mridul Tiwari may not have lifted the Bigg Boss 19 trophy, but his actions after the show have ensured that he remains one of the most talked-about contestants of the season. One of the youngest participants on the reality show, Mridul stood out not just for his journey inside the house, but for a promise he made even before entering it. He had openly stated that if he won the show, he would donate the entire fees of Bigg Boss of Rs 50 lakh towards public welfare, with a special focus on education.

While Mridul did not emerge as the winner of Bigg Boss 19, his commitment to social causes has not wavered. In recent days, the influencer and content creator was seen visiting NGOs that work with physically handicapped individuals and underprivileged children.

During these visits, he spent time interacting with the children, understanding their needs, and extending support in meaningful ways. Videos and pictures from the visits quickly surfaced online, drawing praise from fans and fellow celebrities alike.

What struck a chord with many was Mridul’s deeply personal reflection shared alongside these moments.

In a heartfelt post, he wrote, “I wasn’t able to get much formal education, but I still try to improve and educate myself every day. Education is more important than anything.”

Sources close to Mridul reveal that a significant portion of his earnings from Bigg Boss 19, including appearance fees and related income, is being directed towards educational initiatives and welfare programmes.

While earlier reports suggested he would donate the full prize money of Rs 50 lakh, Mridul has maintained that the spirit of that promise matters more than the technical outcome of the show.

Social media reactions have been overwhelmingly positive. Many users have called his actions “rare” and “inspiring” in an era where post-show fame often takes precedence over purpose.

Several fans also pointed out that Mridul’s journey sends a powerful message: success is not just about winning titles, but about what one chooses to do with their influence.
