Actor Vicky Kaushal has been busy with the shoot of his upcoming 'Chaava' in which he will play the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who was the eldest son of Maratha Empire’s founder, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The actor has always kept his look from the movie under wraps but a new pic of his look as Sambhaji Maharaj has leaked online and it has gone viral now.

In the picture, Vicky Kaushal is seen in a dhoti kurta look and he is seen wearing rudraksha mala and a red gamcha tied on his waist.

Vicky has kept long hair for this role and in the picture his hair is tied in a bun like a saint. He also has bhabhuti smeared on his forehead.

'Chhava' is a period drama and Vicky Kaushal will be seen opposite Rashmika Mandanna. The film is going to chronicle the life of Sambhaji Maharaj - his bravery, sacrifice, and wartime strategies.

A few days back Vicky had also shared the news of having wrapped the Wai schedule of his movie 'Chhava'.

Vicky had also shared a sneak peek of his preparations for 'Chhava' earlier. He also managed to have a cheat day during the film's shoot and enjoyed pani puri.

Rashmika Mandanna will be seen playing the role of his wife Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. She has also finished shooting for her role in the movie.

'Chhava' is directed by Laxman Utekar. He is reuniting with Vicky after 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023), which was also a hit.
