Actress Sobhita Dhulipala returned to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival after a long hiatus of 8 years. The ‘Night Manager’ star attended the festival and showcased not just one but two iconic outfits.
In a recent Instagram post, the actress reflected on her experience of going to the international film festival for the second time. She shared a series of pictures that she took while attending the festival.
the ‘Made in Heaven’ actress started her post out by expressing her gratitude toward Magnum, an ice cream company, for inviting her.
The actress then recalled her first experience of being at the Cannes Film Festival. She stated that it was for her debut film Raman Raghav 2.0. the film premiered in the Directors’ fortnight segment in 2016.
She also pointed out that this time she was at Cannes to represent a brand and not a film.
Her caption read - “So I was in Cannes for exactly 30 hours courtesy @magnum.india. My second time at the film festival - the first time was with my debut film Raman Raghav 2.0 which premiered in the incredible Directors’ fortnight segment in 2016. This time around, though I was there with a brand and not a film, the quiet wonder remains. As does the boisterous laughter and my baguette admiration”
The actress attended a party hosted by Magnum "Welcome To The Pleasure Express" event at Cannes. Notable musician Troye Sivan was in attendance as well.
Sobhita wore a glittery purple jumpsuit designed by Namrata Joshipura for her first look. It has a reported price tag of around INR 1,80,000.
For her second look, the star resembled an Oscar statuette wearing an all gold body con dress. She was exuding desert goddess energy with her stunning golden dress. One fan wrote, "Mermaid going back to sea.”
