In 2898 AD, Buji was first presented to a small group of people in Hyderabad at a function put up by the Kalki film makers.

Prabhas had recently made a cryptic post about someone being there for him all the time. And finally, the actor revealed to his fans what or who it was.

Prabhas was talking about his swanky vehicle, 'BUJI', which his character Bhairava owns in the upcoming movie 'Kalki 2898 AD'.

The Pan India actor introduced Buji to his fans at a special event held in Hyderabad yesterday (May 23).

On My 18, Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin also released a video introducing Prabhas' vehicle, which is a robot named Buji. It has been voiced by Keerthy Suresh.

Buji will play an important role in the movie, and it will be seen as Bhairava's loyal.

Buji was introduced to a select audience in Hyderabad at an event organized by the producers of Kalki in 2898 AD. And a one-minute-long teaser introducing Buji was also showcased to them.

A fan shared the video from the event where one can see Prabhas riding Buji as they make an entry on the stage.

Later, Prabhas, who was dressed in a long coat with futuristic clothes, addressed his fans. He spoke to them for a few minutes and thanked them.

Prabhas had also shared the first look at Buji a few hours ago. The car looks futuristic and sleek.

A short video of Buji getting impatient was also shared a few days ago. In the video, it is shown that Buji's body is being built by the team of Kalki in 2898 AD.

At the event, Prabhas thanked his fans and also said he was grateful to be working with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.

Back in 2022, the film's director Nag had written on his X, formerly Twitter, asking for the help of Anand Mahindra's Mahindra and Mahindra in building the vehicle.

He wrote, “Dear @anandmahindra sir, we are making an Indian sci-fi film with Mr. Bachan, Prabhas, and Deepika called #ProjectK. A few vehicles we are building for this world are unique and beyond the tech of today. If this film does what it is supposed to, it will be the pride of our nation.”

He also added, “I admire you a lot, sir. You have a talented, fully Indian team of engineers and designers, but the scale of the project is such that we could use a hand. Such a film has never been attempted before. It would be an honor if you could help us engineer the future. #ProjectK.” Anand Mahindra had also responded to Nag, promising him the help he needed to build the vehicle for the movie.

'Kalki 2898 AD' directed by Nag has Prabhas sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.

The film's plot is under wraps, and some of its characters have been introduced to the fans, like Amitabh Bachchan, who will play the role of Ashwathama.

The film will hit screens in multiple languages on June 27.
