The film was screened for the CBFC on June 25th, following which it was unexpectedly advanced to a revising committee review without any explanation.

"We, the producers of Vedaa feel compelled to share with our fans and supporters that despite our best efforts, we are still to secure a clearance and certification from the CBFC of India," read a statement from the film’s makers. They have been waiting patiently for the revising committee to be formed, but as of now, there has been no progress.

The makers have documented their appeal for certification daily, seeking consideration or at least an explanation for the delay. Despite this unusual situation, the team maintains full faith in the system and hopes that the CBFC will oblige their request soon.

The producers of Vedaa further requested the concerned authorities to look into the matter and resolve it on a priority basis.
