Mandala Murders actor Surveen Chawla meets her favorite cricketer Washington Sundar, shares fun selfie

Actress Surveen Chawla recently had a fan girl moment when she met the Indian cricket star Washington Sundar, whom she truly admired. The actress also clicked photos with her favourite cricketer and shared them on her social media.

Surveen posted a selfie with Washington on her Instagram handle and captioned it as, “there two ‘Dappers’ in the house… Washi Washi Washi, aaye aaye aaye!!” She also wrote that it was an absolute pleasure meeting him.

Reposting Surveen’s story, the cricketer wrote in his caption, “when you bump into one of the coolest people around ” – to which Surveen replied with a fun line, “Says the coolest of them all…”
As she celebrated this exciting encounter with one of her favourite athletes, Surveen radiated major boss-lady energy. She looked stunning in a power-packed unisex ensemble that included a sharp suit and a statement hat.

Previously, Surveen returned with a gripping avatar as a female-led cast in the Mandala Murders.
Talking about the project, she said, “There was an immediate, energetic connection — the kind that tells you this is something special. It wasn’t just about the uniqueness of the story or how different it was from anything I’ve done before, but the sheer sense of surrender it asked for. Gopi sir is the embodiment of faith in his vision, and surrendering to the world he and Manan created was both instinctive and very special.”

Mandala Murders also stars Vaani Kapoor, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Shriya Pilgaonkar, among others, in the key roles. Directed by Gopi Puthran and Manan Rawat, the series is penned by Gabe Gabriel, Matt Graham, Avinash Dwivedi, Chirag Garg and Gopi Puthran.

The Netflix thriller follows two investigators who embark on a mission to uncover the enigma behind a series of murders, unveiling sinister secrets rooted in history.
