Hombale Films and Kleem Productions’ Mahavatar Narsimha is showing no signs of slowing down, cementing its status as one of the highest-grossing Indian animated films ever made.

Even after 18 days in cinemas, the mythological epic continues to attract packed houses, earning an impressive Rs 5.25 crore (India nett) on Monday.

Since its release on July 25, 2025, the film has captivated audiences with its breathtaking animation, spiritual storytelling, and immersive 3D visuals.

As part of the ambitious Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, Mahavatar Narsimha has now collected a staggering Rs 210 crore worldwide, demonstrating its dominance both domestically and internationally.

The makers recently celebrated the film’s phenomenal success with a special event at a temple, paying tribute to its divine inspiration.

They also released a “success trailer” packed with unseen footage, further fuelling excitement among fans. With strong weekday collections, trade experts believe the film’s momentum will continue in the coming weeks.

Hombale Films has already established itself as a powerhouse in Indian cinema with mega-hits like KGF Chapters 1 & 2, Salaar: Chapter 1 – The Ceasefire, and the culturally resonant Kantara. Now, the studio is breaking new ground in animation, with Mahavatar Narsimha kicking off a decade-long franchise based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu.

Directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions, the film is presented by Hombale Films.

Released in 3D across five Indian languages, Mahavatar Narsimha continues to deliver a cinematic experience that blends devotion, artistry, and scale—making it a milestone in Indian animation and a box office force to reckon with.
