Maaman OTT Release: When and where to stream Soori and Aishwarya Lekshmi's family drama

Maaman will soon premiere on OTT

Soori and Aishwarya Lekshmi starrer Maaman was released in the theatres in May, and the film is making its way to the OTT platform soon. The makers have recently revealed that Maaman will premiere digitally on ZEE5 on August 8, 2025.

Written and directed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj, the Tamil family drama explores the relationship between a maternal uncle and his nephew. It delves into themes of love, reconciliation, and family bonds.

Along with Soori and Aishwarya Lekshmi, the film also stars veteran actor Rajkiran. The film had a successful run in theaters and will now be available for streaming in Tamil, reaching a wider audience through the OTT platform.

Lloyd C Xavier, Business Head of Tamil and Malayalam at ZEE5, said the film fits with the platform’s focus on content based on family values and emotional storytelling.

Director Prasanth Pandiyaraj described Maaman as a personal project centered on relatable family dynamics. Actor Soori noted it as a story inspired by real-life emotions and connections.
