Lakshmi Manchu confirms Mohan Babu in Paradise

The buzz around Nani’s upcoming film The Paradise just got even bigger, thanks to a special announcement from Lakshmi Manchu.

She confirmed that her father, the veteran actor Mohan Babu, will be playing a lead role in the much-anticipated Telugu actioner directed by Srikanth Odela. The film is all set to hit theatres next year, and fans couldn’t be more excited.

At the pre-release event of Daksha, Lakshmi spoke warmly about her father’s dedication to his craft. She told Etimes, “Even at this age, my father is committed to preparing for the role. He’s been working out regularly because the part demands physical fitness. Whether it’s a debut director or a seasoned filmmaker, his passion and commitment remain unchanged. On set, he inspires everyone like a school student eager to learn.”

With versions in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and even Spanish, The Paradise is preparing for a major multilingual release on March 26, 2026, which tells the team's intention to reach viewers everywhere and making it a pan India film.

Excitement has already been sparked by the teasers and songs, which elevate the excitement for the plot with breathtaking visuals. In addition to Nani and Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal plays a big part in the movie, which strengthens the ensemble.

Lakshmi didn't stop there; she also took a moment to support her brother, Manchu Manoj, who is returning to the role of villain in Mirai. She acknowledged the personal struggles he overcame to shine on screen once more and praised his strong performance and tenacity.

The Paradise, which is produced by Nani's Unanimous Productions and Sudhakar Cherukuri's SLV Cinemas, attempts to establish Telugu cinema as a major player in the world.

The filmmakers are even in negotiations with a Hollywood studio to enhance the visual effects, promising an ambitious and visually stunning cinematic experience. The Paradise appears to be one of the must-see films of the upcoming year because of its immense talent and passion.
