A section of NewJeans’ global fandom has taken their frustrations over the group’s management dispute to the streets, staging a truck protest outside HYBE Corporation’s headquarters in Yongsan District, Seoul on March 3, 2026.
The demonstration — organised by dedicated supporters known as Bunnies — featured LED trucks displaying messages calling on HYBE and its subsidiary ADOR to end prolonged legal and management conflicts and guarantee full-group comeback activities for all five members — Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein.
In a statement, the fans mentioned a recent ruling by the Seoul Central District Court, which concluded that there were no valid grounds for terminating the contract in a case brought by former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, who is now the head of Oak Records. They argued that “HYBE escalated the conflict based on the false claim of a management rights takeover.”
Fans said the protest was intended to pressure HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk and ADOR CEO Lee Do-kyung to resolve ongoing disputes, including litigation involving Danielle’s family and allegations that the company mishandled media reports and unauthorized leaks involving the group. Bunnies also urged action over accusations they say have harmed NewJeans’ reputation and called for apologies from other affiliated labels amid broader tensions in the industry.
The truck protest formed part of a growing wave of fan activism sparked by months of conflict between NewJeans members, their former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin and the HYBE corporate structure, which has seen legal disputes, halted activities and heated debates across social media and amongst fandoms. Bunnies reiterated that the group should return to OT5 full-group promotions and that all members be supported equally in upcoming activities.

Organisers warned that if demands were not addressed, they would consider stronger collective action in the future, emphasising that NewJeans’ identity as a five-member unit was central to their support. The protest reflects broader fan unrest and intensifying scrutiny of how entertainment companies handle artist disputes and contractual matters — especially when fans feel artistic careers and group dynamics are at stake.
