In heartwarming news for fans across the globe, Girls’ Generation member Tiffany Young and actor Byun Yo-han have officially tied the knot. Byun’s agency, TEAMHOPE, confirmed that the couple legally registered their marriage on January 27, marking the beginning of their new chapter together.
According to the agency, the two became a legal couple "based on their deep trust and love for each other," and discussions about a wedding ceremony are currently underway. Rather than a grand celebrity affair, the couple is said to be leaning toward something far more personal and meaningful.
"They are at the stage of carefully considering a simple wedding ceremony in the form of a church service where they share their gratitude with family members," the agency said.
"As they start a new journey of life, they plan to remember the support and love sent to them until now and repay by showing a more mature side of themselves."
Tiffany and Byun first met while portraying lovers in the 2024 Disney+ series Uncle Samsik. What began as on-screen chemistry gradually blossomed into a real-life romance.
After publicly acknowledging their relationship in December, the couple moved forward quickly, registering their marriage just about two months later and officially joining the ranks of celebrity newlyweds.
Those close to the production had reportedly noticed their growing closeness during filming, but it wasn’t until late 2024 that the pair chose to confirm their relationship publicly.
Fans were quick to notice a small but meaningful update on social media following the marriage registration. Despite having over 15 million followers, Tiffany had only followed her fellow Girls’ Generation members since her debut. After registering her marriage, however, she added Byun Yo-han’s official account to her following list—symbolically expanding her “family” by one.
Byun mirrored the gesture, including Tiffany among the 17 accounts he follows. The understated move resonated deeply with fans, many of whom saw it as a quiet yet powerful declaration of their bond.

As they step into married life, Tiffany and Byun have expressed their intention to honour the love and support they have received over the years by growing both personally and professionally.
Byun Yo-hanb is known for his performances in hit dramas such as Misaeng (2014) and Mr. Sunshine (2018). Meanwhile, Tiffany Young rose to international fame as a member of Girls' Generation and later she expanded her horizons beyond music, taking on acting roles in Reborn Rich (2022) and Uncle Samsik (2024).
