BTS member Suga has recently sent his fans into a frenzy after he went live for the first time in two years. He finally broke his social media hiatus.
During the live session, Suga introduced his cat to his fans, creating a buzz among the fans. This was Suga, also known as Yoongi, making his first broadcast after joining the military.
Suga has refrained from performing a solo Weverse session despite being released in June of this year. He has previously appeared in the live sessions with his bandmates Jin, J-Hope, RM, V Jimin, and Jungkook.
For the ARMYs, Suga's visit and solo performance were a moment of celebration.
On December 28, 2025, ARMY members unexpectedly got a phone notice about Yoongi going online. The fandom quickly joined the session where their K-pop star was seated, dressed in black, and sporting spectacles. He introduced his black cat to the world after holding it for three years. Suga disclosed that the pet's name is Tang, which means "Sugar."
During the live session, the singer said, “Everyone it’s cold, please take care of your health. in the near future, i’ll come back again."

For the unversed, Suga last appeared on Weverse during a recent holiday live that went viral, when OT7 joined to wish their fans a happy Christmas and New Year.
This comes after Suga was recognised on November 6, 2025, as the 40th winner of the "Angel & Star" title for his significant commitment to Fan & Star's October charity project. The program, which was a philanthropic endeavour of The Fact Music Awards (TMA), sought to help children from low-income, single-parent households by giving them necessary sanitary pads.
