BTS member J-Hope is reportedly set to achieve another major milestone in his career, as he is said to be on track to become Nike’s new global ambassador next year.
According to reports by Sure Magazine, J-Hope is expected to step in as a global ambassador for Nike in 2026. The report suggests that the collaboration will mark a significant partnership between the global sportswear giant and the K-pop superstar.
As per the magazine, J-Hope is also preparing to launch a special campaign next year built around the theme “Hope on the Street,” which draws inspiration from the title of his first solo mini album. The campaign is said to reflect his artistic identity and creative vision.
J-Hope is reportedly gearing up to be officially named Nike’s new global ambassador next year and is working on a themed campaign inspired by Hope on the Street. While an official confirmation is still awaited, speculation surrounding the collaboration has grown stronger in recent days.
Members of Nike's marketing team were allegedly seen following J-Hope's official Instagram account, which heightened speculation about the impending collaboration.
Fans all over the world became excited as soon as the news spread on social media. One fan wrote, “He truly lives up to the name ‘King Hope,’” while several others expressed anticipation over a possible Nike collection inspired by Hope on the Street.
If confirmed, this would become J-Hope’s second global brand ambassador role. He was officially announced as a Louis Vuitton House Ambassador in February 2023, making history as the first BTS member to sign an individual ambassador contract with a luxury fashion house — a move that drew widespread attention at the time.
J-Hope has long been associated with Nike, often sporting the brand’s products in public. He has previously been seen wearing unreleased sneakers linked to NBA star Luka Dončić and has attended NBA-related events alongside Nike executives, highlighting his close ties with the brand.
Fans see this potential collaboration as a natural next step, especially as it aligns with J-Hope’s post-military discharge phase and the continued success of BTS members’ solo ventures.
At present, Tyla, Kendrick Lamar, and Travis Scott are among Nike’s global ambassadors.
