All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is now officially in production, renewing Netflix’s globally popular South Korean zombie thriller after years of anticipation. The story picks up several years after the chaotic outbreak at Hyosan High School that captivated audiences worldwide. In this next chapter, Nam On-jo, played by Park Ji-hu, is now a university student in Seoul, still scarred by the trauma of her past survival. Just as she attempts to establish a semblance of normal life, a new and more aggressive wave of infection erupts in the city, forcing her and a new group of peers into an urgent fight for their lives.
The renewed outbreak spreads beyond the confined environment of the high school into the vast urban landscape of Seoul, challenging survivors in unfamiliar terrain. Alongside On-jo are new characters — including hardened university seniors with their own survival strategies and a National Intelligence Service leader whose involvement signals deeper societal stakes in the battle against the undead.
Meanwhile, familiar faces from the original outbreak — such as Lee Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), and Lee Su-hyeok (Lomon) — grapple with the aftermath of their past experiences and the evolving world around them. As the threats multiply and the virus becomes deadlier, each character must confront lingering trauma, shifting loyalties, and the harsh realities of a post-apocalyptic society that shows no mercy to the weak.
